Students will examine key stakeholders, including states, international organizations, and the private sector, and their roles in shaping cyber policies and frameworks.
The course also delves into the cybersecurity landscape, analyzing emerging threats such as hacking, ransomware, espionage, and cyberterrorism. Global cybersecurity trends, the impact of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and quantum computing, as well as the balance between national and international cybersecurity priorities, will be explored.
By the end of this course, students will develop critical insights into the role of cyber diplomacy in fostering international cooperation, promoting peace and stability, and building a secure digital future. Emphasis will be placed on case studies, policy analysis, and collaborative strategies to address transnational cyber threats.
